Cell phones usage has increased drastically ever since the introduction of Wi-Fi, with mobile internet, users are more active on their cell phone playing with apps and viewing information like movie times and new releases. Wi-Fi provides free internet access and we all know free is good, but finding the strongest Wi-Fi hotspot can be a hassle. Luckily there’s an app called WeFi, its uses a feature called crowdsourcing that provides you with a map of all the nearby hotspots. There’s even an online map of access points in the WeFi database. Basically WeFi runs in the background of your Android phone and connects to the strongest hotspots available. You can also customize different networks for home or office and it even knows the best access points in your location without using the internet. Each WeFi user around you provides you with another hotspot for you to access, increasing the global network. You also don’t have to put in work like registering new access points as they’re done automatically and for privacy WeFi doesn’t share any information like WPA or WEP keys. Check out this free app for your Android at the Android Marketplace.
