Finally the BlackBerry Tour received its update from Verizon late last night. This new update includes the Push-to-Talk capability which seems to be one of its most highlight features. The camera is also said to have smoother operation with its video application. Improved Bluetooth with enhanced functionality for Voice activated dialing in French and English and an upgraded Call Waiting caller ID and call timer. Easier messaging for all its functions and an improved media feature. It has better multitasking ability when using youtube and a better video streaming functionality. More important this update comes with improved operation during charging, push-to-talk, improved third-party GPS apps, and a simplified key-lock functionality. That eliminates the use of a password unless triggered by a security time out. Fellow Tour owners have already been receiving this up date same last night and It seems like there have been reports of the update marginally increasing its speed. Unfortunately the update for the BlackBerry tour doesn’t seem to be enough to keep their owners happy just yet.
