HTC has recently announced that the HTC Tattoo is to receive the latest Android 2.1 update. The HTC Tattoo is the second phone to use the HTC Sense UI. With a 2.8†touch screen display, 240x320QVGA resolution, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi and a microSD slot it’ll run on a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, 256MB RAM, and a 512MB ROM, making it one of the lower end phones. Despite the HTC Tattoo being one of the weaker powered phones, HTC has confirmed that it will be receiving Android 2.1 update.  Great news for all you HTC Tattoo owners.

Ya this was suppose to be one of those smart phones cheap enough to where the carriers would offer them for free with a 2 year contract.
Ya this is like revising software for the G1.
