I have actually been looking for a leather iPhone case that looks good and also provides the protection that I need. From what I see available on the web, it's always either I haven't seen anything that really caught my eye or the ones I see usually disappoints me. Whether it is the thickness they add, the leather's appearance, or the available designs, something always steers me away from actually buying one. I happened to stumble upon Griffin Technology's creation, the Elan Form Etch leather cases. These cases offer a unique design that is etched right into the leather backing. The inner layer is made of a nearly indestructible poly carbonate material and it was precision cut and made so that docking would never be a problem as well as the rest of the phones functions. These are definitely it if you are looking for some sophistication to add to your iPhone.

Sweet. My wife's iPhone 2G died this weekend and I'm getting her a 3G or 3GS today. This will be a great upgrade! Thanks WW.
Looks like it's not available on HHI yet.
Hard to decide whether to wait, or get one of the other Griffin Form Elan cases...
