So we saw the picture of the PSP2, and now come the specs. These aren't really final or maybe not even true, but these are the alleged features of the PSP2.

• Dual cameras
• No physical media, probably
• Touchscreen functionality, but will have the classic button layout when it opens.
• 3G. I'm not too surprised on this one. Opens up mobile gaming even more, especially the way iPod/iPhone/iPad games becoming so popular, the big boys need to put their foot down in this market.

• Four-core Cell processor, basically a miniature PS3 processor

Now, when will we be able to see the official specs? E3 right? Wrong, supposedly it was announced that PSP2 would be showing at E3 but now the predictions are saying that PSP2 might not make it to this years E3 let alone by the end of 2010! So bad news guys, we just have to wait. Well at least if it does come out next year, maybe it will come with even BETTER specs than what we expect! I'll just keep on dreaming.

Playstation 2 has been the king of all video game consoles of all time in units sold, but it will soon be knocked out by a little guy you guys all know and probably have. The Nintendo DS will become the all-time best selling console later this year. Analysts that have been following the sales of the NDS predict that by October this year, the NDS's sales will surpass the current record holder (PS2). As Nintendo climbs, it just proves to show that Sony needs to step up the game with their PSP. Luckily they have already announced the PSP2 that will be shown at E3 this year!

Playstation Portable was one of the most popular handhelds ever released. But of course the popularity of this handheld went down, mainly because nothing was changed on the PSP since release except it's size and small changes to appearance. Last year the PSP Go came out, which was just a PSP that was shrunken down and had a slide screen to expose the controls. Nintendo already announced that their 3DS will be at E3 this year, so of course Sony had to step up and bring their guns to the table. The PSP2 will be announced at E3, and honestly I can tell  you that I'm pretty excited to see what they have to offer. I own a NDS, Wii, PSP, and PS3; and I've found myself spending all my time on my PS3 and PSP more so than the Nintendo stuff. I hope to hear more on this.

Well you heard the news about the Nintendo 3DS, well now PSP has stepped up to the plate with their own 3D PSP! The 3D PSP will also feature a new 3D technology using a front facing camera to create a 3D environment inside the screen. It will be coming out sometime 2011.
