Verizon has already given out the information on why the new Android 2.1 hasn’t been available for update yet. The Verizon webpage has already updated and stated that the OTA software update for DROID will not be out for today, the release date is TBD. This information did not came as a shocker since we saw no further updated information for today and it was already well passed noon, something must have went wrong. Either way, Motorola Android users will have to just be patient and wait for the update, I’m sure everyone would want to have an update that actually works and have less problems in the end right?

Ya I heard this update was big for them.
Maybe they had a bug or waiting on the other phone launch?
